Hey, I’m Tyla

I grew up here in Grand Island and now have the honor of serving the community that shaped me. With 19 years behind the chair, I’ve learned that great hair isn’t just about technique - it’s about trust, intention, and truly understanding the person sitting in front of me.

Lane Hair Lounge was created as a place where the outside world can soften. A calm, welcoming space where you can settle in, feel safe, and focus on yourself - without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

My work centers around precision, creativity, and longevity. I specialize in custom hair extensions and lived-in color designed to complement your lifestyle, not complicate it. Hair should feel effortless, wearable, and aligned with your everyday life.

Every appointment begins with a thoughtful consultation. Before I ever touch your hair, I take the time to understand your goals, your history, and any challenges you’ve experienced. Together, we create a customized hair plan - one that supports not just how your hair looks when you leave the salon, but how it grows, wears, and evolves over time.

Throughout your experience, I’ll guide you through each step, educate you along the way, and ensure you feel confident and cared for from start to finish. My goal is for you to leave feeling lighter - not just because of your hair, but because you felt truly seen.

Outside of the salon, I’m a wife, pet parent, and coffee lover. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll likely find me at a local coffee shop, spending time with my husband and our fur babies, or heading to a concert - always with a few hair tips ready for life’s fun moments.
